Passing Halong Bay, tourists can’t miss some splendid traveling sites such as Sung Sot Cave, Titov Island, Cua Van fishing village and etc.
Situated in the center of the UNESCO-listed World Natural Wonder on
Bo Hon Island,
Sung Sot Cave or Surprise Cave is one of the widest and
most beautiful grottoes of Halong Bay. Following the stone steps to the grotto, you climb under the shade of trees and foliage. Inside the cave is a mystical world waiting to be explored.
Titov Island includes steep slopes, tilt with a bank of white sand, flat. The cruise ships usually visit here. Visitors go to the shore to swim or climb the mountain and see the whole island views, looking down from the peak.
Titov beach is shaped like a crescent moon that embraces the foot of the island.
About 2 km southwest of Titov Island is Me Cung Grotto or Maze Grotto. Located on the Lom Bo Island, the cave consists of many compartments, though small but very sophisticated, with stalactites in the shape of statues, beautiful patterns hanging from the ceiling.
Cua Van fishing village is a small floating community that is now an attractive tourist site in
Halong Bay with many interesting activities for visitors. You can enjoy
kayaking around the floating houses or admire the strangely seductive views of nature from a
local rowing boat or visit a floating cultural center to understand more about the life of fishermen in the village.
