Early Morning: Departure from Hanoi

The day began with an early pick-up from my hotel in the Hanoi Old Quarter around 7am. While the 2.5-hour drive to Halong Bay may sound long for a single-day trip, it was a scenic route that gave me time to rest and get excited about the adventure ahead.
